After The Drizzle

After the drizzle is the fragrance of the ground,

And small birds swirling with their twittering sound

The amphibians in the ponds swimming at night,

And wild almond-trees in quivering white

Fowls will be dressed in their fine downy coats,

Chuckling each other in love notes

The watery winds will no longer be,

Until nimbus clouds make their plea

Have your say
