Voices
I heard the restless sea
Chit-chatting to the sea shells
Such a monotonous story
Monotonous like a litany
I heard the valley’s breeze
Just gossiping with the trees
And hills listened attentively
As trees try to bend like on their knees
I heard vehicles mumble
Making noise as they tumble
When their heavy engines rumble
For everyday I heard these voices
I heard the hens cackle
The elephants trumpeting
And the seagulls above screaming
For these voices will keep on going
