Multiplication and Division of Algebraic Fractions Method

When multiplying algebraic fractions, we first multiply the numerators jointly after that we multiply the denominators jointly in order to create a single algebraic fraction. As soon as we have a result in the numerator and a result in the denominator, afterwards we can cancel factors which are common to both the numerator and the denominator. Cancelling is the same as to divide both the numerator and the denominator by the similar quantity.

When dividing algebraic fractions, we initially invert (that is upturn) the fraction in the denominator and multiply instead.
