Horticulture
Horticulture is the discipline, knowledge, and business involved in plant cultivation for human utilization. It is accomplished from a person’s garden up to the activities of a worldwide business. It involves several activities such as planting for food; fruits, vegetables etc.. and non-food crops ;flowers, trees, medicinal herbs etc… This science also includes services in plant maintenance, landscape re-establishment, garden design etc.. These services are all elemental to increasing and preserving human healthiness and welfare.
Propagation, the controlled continuation of plants, is the most fundamental horticultural practice. Its purpose is to raise the numbers of a plant and to protect its fundamental uniqueness. Propagation may be attained sexually by use of seeds or asexually by use of methods such as cutting, grafting, and tissue culture. A successful horticultural process may be achieved by great control of the surroundings, including light, water, temperature, soil structure and pests. Two notable horticultural techniques are training (changing a plant’s orientation in space) and pruning (careful removal of plant parts), used to develop the look or value of plants
