Along The Way
As I walk along the way
The moon walks over mountains
And silvery ashes rains
The sequins of silver pave the road
Shimmering through the darkness
Along the forlorn night
Shadows lick the land
Movement crawls upon the drowsy ground
As I walk along the way
Stars above my head like Christmas lights they flash
Each one appears in the sky like silver cash
Trees gossip as the night winds sweep the road
The walking moon was a lantern guiding me through
Silence was like a swamp in the air
Broken by the symphony of crickets
As I walk all alone
As I walk along the way
As I walk along the way
