The Dawn In Her Face
Aurora
I see such glimmer
The dayspring
I can hear the cocks crow
I can hear the birds chirp
It is an emergence
An inception
Soon are the tides of the bright sun
The unfolding
Of a sequined daylight sparkling
The sunrise garments all on her bright face
Have just chased all the dew and night away
And the sun god has painted some shadows
A genesis
A golden masterpiece
Her face, daybreak
She’ll kill all my heartache
She breathes open leaves with the scent of blossoms
Her world is no longer bathed in wan moonlight
But with a sunlit face as clear as sunlight
