A course of action by which information is exchanged between individuals through a method of symbols, signs, or behavior

An institution that provides news exposure to subscribers with regard to newspapers or periodicals

 

Transmission

 

The operation or process of sending a message, photograph, or other information from one spot to other spots by means of radio waves, electrical signals, light signals, etc

Several parts to any communication

  • the sender – the person sending the message
  • the receiver – the person to whom the message is addressed
  • the content of the message – for example, information about a meeting
  • the format of the message – for example an email
  • the communication channel through which the message is sent – example via the computer
  • the medium – how the message will be sent, in this case it is via the internet
