When You Touched Me
Your approach is like the coming of dawn
With golden hands, the beams of light
The voice you utter is a chirruping song
Your arrival chases my night
With breath as fresh as morning breeze
That tickles my body all the way through
Every time you put me at ease
For your breath as gentle as falling dew
My cardiac walls were asleep, as silent as thought
Now as sleepless as an owl, my attention you caught
Today my depression is a shadow
But my body charcoal land when you go
If loving you is wrong, I don’t want to be right
When you are not there, I am as sad as the night
