The Hug
Your clinging hug says, “I love you, dear”
And sometimes it says, “You need a cheer”
I need that warmful squeeze
Begging on bended knees
For that bright sunshine cuddle
That gives light like a candle
That unforgettable embrace
Don’t let these arms ever unlace
My sweet love, nurse me like a mother
Cherish me until the last hour
Like folded mountains we are so enfold
Where I am in a world richer than gold
That clinging hug says, “Good luck and good bye”
And always says your love will never die
