Rhyming Couplets
The couplets rhyme
Most of the time
As simple as A B C
Is the couplet that you see
Its simplicity, its firmness
The backbone of its robustness
With two successive lines of verse
You hear persons with songs rehearse
The two lines with the same pattern of metre
Like an image and reflection in mirror
The first a revelation and dramatization
And the other one strengthens with a resolution
You’ll see a question
And a reaction
A push and pull on paper
Like flow and ebb on shore
Expression of forward movement
Expression of backward movement
The form of rhyme is on axle
Balancing is the poet’s tool
