An Opera
A nightingale by night
A canary by day
Echoing through twilight
Melodic tunes you play
Chanting away a sea of waves
You plant songs into every ear
Soften hearts harmony engraves
A voice so sweet, a voice so rare
For generations your voice lives on
Your cry cheerful, never a lament
But stings the golden rays of the sun
The tuned legendary instrument
Moulded by a master
To which all ears adore
A world without your song
Is a world that’s all wrong
