A Lost Love
Waters that encircled me, so immense and deep
I was on a journey on a radiant ship
And when the strong wind blew, yes I surely flowed
It stopped and I stopped, it went and I followed
I was conscious that I was lost at sea
I looked around perplexed at what I see
The wind was too strong, my sails were not calm
I tried to navigate my ship to land
I fell in the consuming, undulating waves
Waves upon waves, rolling me in the dungeon caves
Raindrops like bullets fired from the sky
I was so afraid, I thought I would die
I tried to take hold of my ship
A tight hold I just could not keep
I could not control the direction to swim
Desperately, I wanted to fight and to scream
My body a wintry ground, my arms were tired
I wondered when will the rescue team be hired
I wanted to see again, the silver shoreline
Of your heart, my love it was time to spend some time
