A Candle Crying
Crying
Crying
A city sheds tears through the dismal night
Dying with the sting of the burning light
For the prancing flame munching on its wick
Crisping and crackling and more it will seek
Crying
Crying
The brutal sound of fire burning wax
And along its deadly path leaving cracks
The weeping city now a funeral ground
Where tears for the bereavement racing down
Crying
Crying
A crying candle dying from the heat
To the sorrowful grave it must submit
And that city’s last breath has gone away
It is time, the burning fire’s last day
